Pricing
We keep it plain: you pay the state's filing fee, plus one low flat service fee for the work we do. No bloated packages, no upsells buried in the checkout. Start the form and you'll see your exact quote before you commit.
How our pricing works
There are only ever two parts to what it costs to register your company with us: the government filing fee that your chosen state charges, and our low flat service fee for preparing and filing everything correctly on your behalf.
The state filing fee is set by the Secretary of State — it is not ours to discount, and it goes straight to the state. Our service fee is a single, transparent flat amount for the work: checking your name, preparing your formation documents, filing them, and setting up the essentials so you can operate.
Because state fees differ from state to state, the best way to see your total is to start the form. You tell us the entity type and state, and we show you the exact quote — no account required, and no obligation to continue.
- State filing fee — set by the state, paid to the state
- Our flat service fee — one low, transparent amount
- Your exact quote is shown before you pay anything
- No hidden charges, no surprise line items at checkout
What is always included
Our flat service fee is not a stripped-down teaser. It covers the things every new company actually needs to open a bank account, stay compliant, and operate — bundled in, not sold back to you one at a time.
- Formation filing — we prepare and file your Articles of Organization or Incorporation with the state
- Registered agent for your first year, so you never miss a legal notice
- EIN support — we help you obtain your federal Tax ID, including for founders without an SSN
- A tailored operating agreement (LLC) or bylaws (corporation), ready to sign
- Compliance reminders so annual reports and deadlines never sneak up on you
What can cost extra
We would rather be upfront than surprise you. A few things sit outside the flat service fee — either because a third party sets the price, or because not every founder needs them.
The biggest variable is the state filing fee itself. It varies by state and is paid to the state, not to us. Some states charge more than others, and a handful add an annual report or franchise-tax cost down the line. You can compare what each state charges on our states pages before you decide where to form.
Beyond that, a few optional add-ons are available only if you want them. We describe them plainly so you can choose — nothing is switched on by default.
- State filing fee — varies by state, paid directly to the state
- ITIN application help — a personal US tax ID, only if you need one
- US business bank account help — document prep and guidance to founder-friendly banks
- Expedited processing — where a state offers faster filing for an additional state charge
- Registered agent renewal after year one, and future annual compliance filings
Why we can be cheaper
We built this to be the most affordable way to register a US company, and that is a deliberate choice about how we operate — not a temporary discount.
We run lean and pass the savings on. We do not pad the price with add-ons you did not ask for, and we do not hide the real cost behind a low headline number that balloons at checkout. One flat service fee, the state's fee on top, and a quote you can see before you commit.
- Lean operation — we keep overhead low and prices low
- Transparent flat fee — one number for our work, shown upfront
- No bloated packages — the essentials are included, extras are optional
- No pressure — get your exact quote first, decide after
